My name is Mark Evans. Im 67 years old. I'm married to my Wonderful Wife for 37 years now. I'm a father of two and a Grandfather of four. And a Marine Corps Veteran. Back in February I became extremely sick. I was taken to the hospital. When I was in the er after several tests I had the flu and a uti. The er doctor admitted me. He told my wife that I may not make it. So I spent 9 days there being pumped up on steroids and antibiotics. So on day nine I was discharged. I was home for three days and got really bad again. So I went to the er and after several tests again the determined that I had slight pneumonia. So they pumped me up again with steroids and antibiotics. They sent me home after four days. I was out one almost two weeks and again I started to feel bad. I spent five days in the hospital again. After tests and x-rays and a CT scan they found eight blockages from my feet clear to my heart. So they put me on blood thinners to get rid of the clots. I was diagnosed with Pulmonary Embolism. After that they also told me that I have upper respriatory failure with acute hypoxia. The doctor didn't beat around the bush and had the lung specialist come in to talk to me and he said I only have maybe 1-2 years to live. So you can imagine my wife and I thoughts. So after all of this my medical bills keep piling up along with me not working other bills got way behind. I don't want to leave this world with a ton of debt hanging over my wife's head. I can no longer work being on oxygen and I get very winded. Please help me, I'm at my wits end. And struggling very hard. Please help, Anyway amount is a blessing. The picture of me was taken at Christmas this past year. Thank you very much.
