Support Mark Estes' Road to Recovery
Donation protected

On Tuesday, June 18th, between the hours of 8 and 9 pm, I was hit by a car while crossing the street at the intersection of 22nd Street and Craycroft Rd. The driver of the car that struck me did not stay and cooperate with the police department. At this time, no arrests have been made in my case. I am asking that anyone who witnessed anything that day to please, step forward to report anything that you may have seen.
My injury was to my right leg that required immediate surgery. Although the break in my leg was not a compound fracture, a metal plate was inserted into my right leg below the knee. The estimated time of full recovery is approximately 6 months and it will be at least twelve weeks before I can put any weight on my right leg. I have a long road of recovery ahead of me that will require some intense physical therapy.
During this time, I will need as much help as I can get. If anyone is willing to help me in any way they can, I would very much appreciate it. I thank you in advance for anything that you are able to assist me with.
From my heart,
Mark Estes.
