Mark Blume was a beloved tennis coach at Elmcrest Country Club and a dear friend to so many in both Cedar Rapids and Des Moines. Over the years, Mark inspired countless players with his passion for the game, his kindness, and his unwavering support for everyone around him. Several years ago, Mark was diagnosed with cancer. He faced this challenge with the same determination and spirit that he brought to the tennis court, undergoing treatment and fighting valiantly every step of the way.

Sadly, Mark recently passed away, leaving behind his devoted wife and three children, who are still in school. His loss is deeply felt by all who knew him, and his family is now facing not only the pain of his absence but also the financial burdens that come with funeral expenses and adjusting to life without him. Mark was truly a winner in every sense, and his legacy lives on in the lives he touched.
