On a day that began like any other, my dear friend Marjan, along with her two daughters and their two beloved cats, lost everything in the devastating Los Angeles wildfire.

The fire swept through their neighborhood with unimaginable speed, forcing them to evacuate with only the clothes on their backs. Their home, filled with memories, love, laughter, and years of hard work, was reduced to ashes. While we are beyond grateful that they are safe, they now face the overwhelming reality of having to start over from nothing.

Marjan is one of the kindest, most generous souls I know. She has always been a source of love and support for those around her. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.

Her daughters are resilient and strong, but this tragedy has shaken the foundation of their lives. Their home was more than four walls—it was their sanctuary, a place of safety, warmth, and dreams. Even their two cats, who miraculously survived, are feeling the trauma and displacement.

This fundraiser is to help Marjan and her girls find temporary housing, replace essential belongings like clothes, school supplies, and basic household items, and provide for their cats who are part of their family.
