- Hello, my name is Maritza. My husband and I are on vacation in Jamaica starting October 22nd. Since Hurricane Melissa turned towards Jamaica, our flight was canceled. All flights out of Jamaica were canceled.
- We tried coming back on Friday, 10/24, but were told it would cost us $3,000 to get to Miami and not even our home state. Now, on 10/26, our flight was canceled, and when we tried to book another one for Tuesday, 10/28, the flight got canceled again. We now will have to stay at the resort, which is charging $500 daily for their hurricane relief rate. Many Americans are now stranded here until the airports open back up on Wednesday.
- We tried booking a flight through another airline, and they froze our account because of fraud and canceled the flight. They told us that we will have to wait 3-5 business days for the money to return. Any money will help, but what we need the most is your prayers.
