This morning, just before 2am, my mother, Maritza Sosa, was suddenly awakened by people banging on her door, telling her to get out because of a fire that started right across from her apartment. In shock, she grabbed her coat and left (with nothing else) as fast as she could. It took over 8 hours to completely extinguish the fire. I thank Jesus she is alive! Most, if not all, of her neighbors are ok, despite several who suffered injuries.

However, my mom lost everything and will need to start over completely.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
