Let's show up for Marissa, making her burial wish come true

Let's show up for Marissa Noel, who is a HERO saving one life with her left kidney. Let's help make her burial wishes come true. She is so deserving of this.

I am hoping to raise funds to help make Marissa's burial wishes come true. My niece Marissa unexpectedly & tragically lost her life on July 8th. She was only 29. Anything extra would help support her family who are facing ongoing financial hardship, having to live off of disability and also dealing with ongoing health crisis.

A 10 day chain of events caused her to go into cardiac arrest for at least 18 minutes. Paramedics were able to get a heartbeat from her upon arriving at the hospital, she was placed on life support for 10 days and after multiple tests were done she was officially declared brain dead with no blood flow to the brain at all.

During her hospitalization it was confirmed that she had pneumonia and was septic from MRCA, she had multiple organ failure.

We believe she fought to come back to us to give us more time so that our family could process this devastation and LOVE on her as long as possible. Our only form of peace is knowing she is in Heaven with her special Nana.

Painstakingly Marissa never truly had a fair shot at life. She was born with brittle bones and tried to live a normal life. She tried hard to do things right and by completing Highschool and getting her CNA certificate. She wanted to be a nurse. She was faced with several traumatic life events, debilitating health crisis- brittle bones, seizures, chronic pain. One hospital visit after the other, having to be in rehab/nursing homes- led to debilitating depression. Marissa never gave up on herself, she strived for better, for normalcy. She desperately wanted to be loved, happy, to feel normal, to lead a normal life.

Marissa's mom and dad both live off of disability. They worked hard all their lives, had A+ credit. They struggle to make ends meet. The air conditioner just went out and they recieved a quote to replace it for 16k. My sister has always struggled to ask for help, understandably.

Marissa's wish after death is to be cremated and some of her ashes to be placed in her special Nana's casket at Green Acres Memorial in Scottsdale. The remainder ashes to be shared among the family.

My sister is desperate to make this wish come true. Per Green Acres, Todd Dobbs- the total burial cost is $17,955 for direct cremation and then the process to combine the ashes with her special Nana's casket (disinterment reinterment).

This family is absolutely deserving of a break in life, respite, relief.

All proceeds will go directly to Berlin Jaeger (Marissa's sister) on behalf of my sister and Marissa. It will go directly to Green Acres Memorial in Scottsdale and anything above the cost of funeral expenses will go toward help with day to day living expenses.
