Support Marissa's Medical Journey

Marissa was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and is scheduled to have it surgically removed on April 28th. Marissa is unable to work while she awaits surgery. She is a teacher and has not been at her new school district for a full year. From this, she is not eligible for FMLA, short-term disability, and her insurance coverage changes to COBRA. With the upcoming medical bills, maintaining payments on student and car loans, and just general living expenses, we are setting up a GoFundMe. This is a difficult ask, but it is part of the reality of this terrible situation.
