Support Marissa's Final Semester and Certification
Donation protected
Hi there! My name is Katalina. I decided to set up a go fund me for my beautiful best friend Marissa. My hope is that in creating this go fund me, I will be able to raise as much needed and deserved financial support for her as I can to help her pay for finishing up her final semester of her masters degree and also to help pay for her board certification testing.

(A little bit more info)
She is supermom to the sweetest boy around and has been the sole parent and provider for her son since the day he was born. Over the past few years she’s worked tirelessly with little to no support to provide a good life for herself and her son and to say she’s done a good job at providing that is an understatement.

For a while she worked full time as a CNA while also putting herself through school full time for her bachelors degree in health sciences. Most recently though she has been working full time as a clinical case manager and working with children with disability’s while also finishing up her masters in applied behavior analysis and completing her board exams, which will allow her to be a clinical practitioner to treat children with all disabilities, but focusing specifically on children with autism, OCD, and ADHD.

She absolutely loves and is so passionate about what she does and very much sees that not only is there a very apparent and desperate need for more people in this line of work but that she is meant to be a advocate and support for children with disability’s and their family’s.

I can’t say enough good things about this amazing woman and I’m so so grateful to have her as my best friend. She always goes above and beyond for others and has been there for me through so much. She’s an inspiration to me and someone I look up to in so many ways. I’ve never met a more sincere, selfless, kindhearted, generous, driven, ambitious, hardworking independent woman in my life. Despite challenges over the years and doing everything on her own…she always keeps going and keeps pushing herself and looks for ways to improve and progress and she always makes the best with what she has. Her love for her son, her desire to be her best self and her hopes to help make the world a better place by being in a field that supports children with special and critical needs have been her constant motivators through this long and challenging process. She’s not ever been the type to ask for help with anything but I believe deserves it and I hope anyone who sees this and either knows Marissa or doesn’t, is able to feel this is a cause worth supporting and either sharing or donating and giving whatever little amount you can to. Every bit means so much. Many thanks for taking the time to read this and support in whatever way you can!
