Hi, this is Marissa’s family posting on behalf of Marissa:

Marissa has already faced more than most do in a lifetime. She beat leukemia as a child, and now at only 27 years old she’s been confronted with breast cancer. She’s a devoted mom to her two-year-old, Isabella, doing everything she can to stay strong and keep life feeling normal for her little one.

While she focuses on treatment and healing, she’s unable to work. She has her husband, Gian Paul, by her side through all of this, but the financial strain their family is facing is more than they can manage alone. The medical bills, everyday expenses, and the cost of simply keeping life moving don’t stop, and the weight of it all is becoming overwhelming. Marissa is resilient, brave, and determined. But no one should have to fight this battle and carry financial stress at the same time.

This fundraiser is for anyone who wants to help ease that burden. Every donation, no matter the amount, gives Marissa the space to focus on what matters most: her health, her recovery, and her family.
