Hello everyone, it breaks my heart to even have to make this post. My name is Marissa Montes. I live with my fiancé and 4 minors.

Last night, on Monday, August 18th, 2025, my entire property burnt down with EVERYTHING my kids and us own—all of our cars, clothes, diapers, food, cards, money, shoes, wallets, formula, strollers, toys, etc. All of our necessities for living are just gone due to this fire.

We have nothing but the clothes on our backs. It all happened so fast; we didn’t have time to save anything but each other and our two cats. My kids and I are so heartbroken; that was years and years worth of our stuff.
