In Loving Memory of Marissa Konrad – A Miracle from Birth to Heaven
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Marissa Konrad, who left us on April 4th, 2025, due to complications during a kidney transplant. Marissa was a miracle from the day she was born, fighting through every challenge with unmatched strength and a heart full of love. Her incredible journey lasted 27 years, and we are comforted to know she is now reunited with her loved ones in Heaven.
Marissa had a gift – she brought joy and light wherever she went, especially through her beautiful Disney-inspired art. She had the ability to capture the magic of life and the world through her creations, and she shared that magic with everyone who knew her. Her kindness, creativity, and infectious laughter were a constant source of warmth for all of us.
We are eternally grateful to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, who helped keep Marissa alive for so many years, giving her the gift of time and precious memories. Their care and dedication allowed her to live her life to the fullest, and we will forever be thankful for the love and support they provided.
As we mourn her loss, we are also focused on celebrating her life and the love she gave to us all. We are raising funds to cover the funeral costs and any additional donations will go toward Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh to continue the amazing work they do for patients like Marissa.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and support during this incredibly difficult time. Your contributions, no matter how big or small, are deeply appreciated. We find comfort knowing that Marissa’s spirit will live on in our hearts, in her art, and in the lives of everyone she touched.
With love and gratitude
