**Support Marissa and Hunter in Their Fight for Health and Healing**

Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Strangers,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts but also with hope as we share the story of Marissa and Hunter, a young couple who have just welcomed their first baby into the world. While their baby arrived at 37 weeks and is thriving, Marissa’s journey has taken a difficult and unexpected turn.

Marissa was induced due to preeclampsia, a condition that often resolves after childbirth. Unfortunately, in Marissa’s case, the situation has become much more complex. She has suffered an Acute Kidney Injury and has been diagnosed with Rapidly Progressive Glomerulonephritis Crescentic (RPGC), a rare and life-threatening condition that can lead to kidney failure within weeks to months if left untreated.

Marissa is now under the care of an incredible team of doctors who are working tirelessly to manage her condition and determine the best course of action. As they explore the specifics of her RPGC diagnosis, we are preparing for the possibility that Marissa may need dialysis or even a kidney transplant in the near future.

This has been an incredibly challenging time for Marissa and Hunter, who are not only adjusting to life as new parents but also facing the uncertainty and fear that comes with a serious health crisis. Hunter has been by Marissa’s side every step of the way, supporting her and caring for their newborn. However, the demands of this situation have meant that both Marissa and Hunter have had to take significant time off work, creating a financial strain that adds to their emotional burden.

We are asking for your help to ease some of this burden. Your generous donations will go directly towards supporting Marissa and Hunter as they navigate this difficult journey—covering medical expenses, daily living costs, and giving them the space to focus entirely on Marissa’s recovery and the well-being of their new family.
