Hello strangers, and people who I may know. My name is Marissa. I am a single mom to 2 beautiful girls (Faith and Romy). This is quite embarrassing. I should be able to handle my monthly bills. I was managing quite well, until I had a hysterectomy in July 2025. I had 6 weeks of recovery and went unpaid the entire time due to the fact that I had exhausted all of my accrued leave in dealing with my health issues prior to surgery. I am a month behind on my rent, and still need to pay my electric. Thank goodness for hand me downs, my girls always look and feel like a million bucks. I am not wanting to take out another loan to dig myself out of this hole, so here I am. Anything helps..

I owe the hospital around $1000 or more and I feel like I am drowning. I can provide proofs of payments and would be so grateful for any donation or shares to help me get back on my feet. WIC has been a great blessing but we are just getting by. Thank you for reading and if you donate, thank you! Even just a share would be amazing. I am blessed with amazing people in my life and I still work full time at the V.A. but I am also in debt to them since they bumped me down a step and have garnished my wages for my accrued debt.
