On Valentine’s Day, which was also Marissa’s birthday, she was involved in a serious accident that left her with life threatening injuries. She is currently in the ICU with swelling on the brain, internal bleeding, and she is on a ventilator to help her breathe. Instead of celebrating her birthday surrounded by love, she is now surrounded by doctors and machines as she fights to recover.

Marissa is a talented barber in San Antonio who has always poured into others. She is selfless, compassionate, and has a heart for people.
