HELP support Marisol's hospital and funeral expenses
Donation protected
I am humbly knocking on your hearts to extend any financial help and prayers that you could give for my sister, Marisol Matudio who was diagnosed with AML (Acute Leukemia), a cancer of the blood cells, which begin in the bone marrow.
She recently got admitted to Austin Hospital in Melbourne to undergo several treatments including chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant as soon as possible.
My sister is 41 years old and married to Jason Matudio. They have two wonderful kids aged 9 and 15. They went to Australia with the hope of providing a better life especially for their kids. She applied as a student and studied nursing at Federation University in Ballarat. She recently completed her nursing course and just graduated two months ago. She is currently working as a Nurse at St. John of God Hospital (Ballarat). They have a Graduate visa application, and they were requested by Home Affairs officer to undergo a medical check-up. All is going well until the blood test results came out. Since, they are not PR yet, the hospitalization bills, etc. will not be covered by Medicare. She wants to fight for her life to see her young family grow up. We know it's not going to be easy for her and her family. This is really hard for our family, too. We are still recovering from the other challenges that we faced in our family when our father was diagnosed with lung cancer last 2018, and died 6 months after; and witnessed the difficulties when our mother underwent treatment of breast cancer last 2019. But thankfully, she was declared as cancer-free.
I am knocking on your good and generous hearts to assist us to fund my sister’s treatment. We thank you in advance for your generosity and prayers.
