Hi everyone , my name is Diana, Marislea’s oldest sister.

I’m writing this with a heavy heart. I never thought in a million years that I would be making a GoFundMe about my sweet baby sister Lea. I am feeling weak and completely torn, as my entire family is hurting during this vulnerable time.

One unfortunate afternoon, Marislea was involved in an awful accident that has impacted our whole family. She was struck by a pickup truck, and was rushed by helicopter to Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera because she sustained serious physical injuries and required surgery. Marislea is a beautiful innocent five-year-old who has been a huge light to our lives. Lea is a fearless, strong, caring, sweet little girl who loves water! Pool time being her all time favorite. She loves to run and play on the playground, listen to music, and adores animals. She is a shy girl, but that has never stopped her from making new friends because she loves being around others so much. She is always smiling making it hard not to smile with her. Despite everything she is currently facing, Lea continues to give us a smile. I don't wish this news upon anyone. If you've ever had the chance to meet Lea, you know how precious she is.
