It is with unimaginable sadness that I share the news that our beloved daughter, Mariska Arwryn Makin, was tragically taken from us in a car accident early yesterday morning. She was just 16 years old.

Mariska was a bright light in our lives—full of kindness, laughter, and dreams for the future. When Mariska loved someone, she put everything into it, and that love was felt deeply by everyone who knew her. Her time with us was far too short, but she touched so many hearts in such a beautiful way.
