I’m reaching out to ask for support for someone very dear to me, my daughter Marisa.

Three months ago, our lives changed when Marisa, a 45-year-old mother of 3 , was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. She has always lived a healthy life — eating well, staying active, and doing everything she could to take care of herself. Cancer was the last thing anyone expected.

Since her diagnosis, she has been unable to work and is currently on FMLA while undergoing treatment. She has three children she loves deeply. One is married, and the other 2— her 19 year old son and 25-year-old son — lives at home. Her 25 year old son has Asperger’s syndrome and is unable to work, making her his primary source of care and support.

Between medical bills, everyday living expenses, and the loss of income, the financial strain has become overwhelming. This GoFundMe was created to help ease that burden so she can focus on what truly matters right now — fighting cancer and being there for her family.
