Marisa is a 29-year-old mother to her energetic two-year-old son, Carson, and is engaged to her high school sweetheart, Brandon. On October 31, 2025, Marisa received the life-changing diagnosis of stage 2B-3A IDC (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma). Further scans did determine that it has not spread beyond the breast and 2 lymph nodes in left armpit!! She will be starting chemo soon, followed by immunotherapy. Other treatment options she may be facing are radiation and surgery. Since being diagnosed, she and Brandon have been struggling to process what the future holds for their young family. The uncertainty and fear have been overwhelming, but they are determined to face this challenge together.

Marisa has always been known for her sensitive and loving nature. She has a huge heart and is adored by her family, friends, colleagues, and everyone she meets. Breast cancer awareness has always been important to Marisa, especially after her great aunt’s own battle with the disease. Now, she finds herself fighting the same battle, and her strength and resilience are being tested every day.

Marisa had to take a leave of absence from work, the financial burden on her family is growing. The funds raised will help cover, daycare expenses for Carson, bills and any unexpected costs that might arise during her treatment.
