Hi everyone,

My name is Andre Sousa and I am Marisa M Sousa's brother and Marilyn Narvaez's close friend. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to inform that on 12/07/2025, a sudden and devastating fire destroyed their home on Davis Ave in Kearny, NJ and everything inside it. In just minutes, their home, belongings, and stability was gone. We are beyond grateful that everyone made it out safely — but the reality of starting from absolutely nothing has been overwhelming.

They're now trying to rebuild from the ground up: clothes, basic necessities, furniture, important documents, and eventually a place to call home again. It’s a lot, and honestly, it’s more than they can manage alone.
