Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and deep hope. My dad, Mario, is currently in the hospital recovering from an extremely invasive gastrointestinal procedure. This was a very unexpected incident, and while the first procedure was successful, he still has a long way to full recovery.

My dad is the most selfless person I know. He is always willing to help others and truly has a heart of gold. His kindness and generosity are seen in every aspect of his life, whether it be at work, with his friends, with his family, or even with people he just met. He’s the type of person who would drop everything to help a neighbor, or go out of his way to make someone’s day a little brighter.

Medical bills are accumulating rapidly, and his recovery will require more time in the ICU, treatments, and follow up appointments.
