Mario Alas was recently in a serious car accident that left him with pelvic bone fractures and a complex injury between his bladder and urethra. While his bones are expected to heal on their own, Mario faces a major surgery in the next few months to repair the damage caused by the accident. Until then, he is unable to work or manage daily life without help, and the recovery process will be long and challenging.

Mario’s care team has explained that the road ahead will be painful and require extensive physical therapy, as well as ongoing support for everyday tasks. Thankfully, both of our families have come together to help with his care, but the financial strain of medical bills, therapy, and lost income is overwhelming. We are doing everything we can to make sure Mario gets the treatment and assistance he needs to heal and regain his independence.
