Mario Kirby, a long-time employee at Flint Hydraulics, is in need of a heart transplant. Every month, he has to drive to Nashville from Memphis for stress tests, blood work, and so on. It’s an 8-hour roundtrip drive to Nashville from Memphis. Since he is on the list, there is no set time when he will get the transplant. Due to the long travel and medical tests, these expenses have become unbearable.
