Our family friends Mario and Yandri were detained by ICE on their way to work the morning of Jan 24th around 9:20. Anyone who knows them knows they are great members of the Minneapolis community. They are both hard workers who are trying to make an honest living to support their families. They are both dedicated husband's and fathers and now both their families who have already been impacted by the unlawful immigration surge are left to survive without them. All we currently know is that they are being held somewhere around the Twin Cities. We are hoping to hear from them both soon to get court dates scheduled and work on their immigration cases. In the meantime, any donations would be extremely helpful to help support their wives and children while we work to help them hire lawyers and cover additional legal fees from their cases. We've set up this fundraiser on behalf of Mario, Yandri, and their families. The funds will be used for any legal fees, rent, food, travel and relocation expenses for Mario, Yandri, and their families while they go through the immigration process. We will send the funds via bank transfers.
