Our dear friend Marina has been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the lower esophagus. It's still too early to know exactly what her treatment plan will look like, but we do know that she's temporarily relocating to Tampa to get the best care she can. There will probably be 5-7 weeks of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, multiple CT and PET scans, and eventually surgery.
