My sister Marina and her husband Alex are two of the hardest working, most giving people I know, both nurses who are always showing up for everyone around them. And right now, they need us to show up for them!

Marina is 32 weeks pregnant with their third baby and has been placed on bedrest due to preterm labor, leaving her on disability while caring for their two little ones, ages 6 and almost 3. Alex was holding everything together until he was suddenly diagnosed with kidney cancer and underwent major surgery. He's now recovering and on disability himself, with a long road ahead before he's cleared to return to work.

To top it all off, both of their cars broke down back to back last month. Their families are rallying around them as much as possible, but the financial pressure is overwhelming right now.

Once the baby arrives and Alex has recovered, they'll be back on their feet. But in the meantime, they just need a little breathing room. These are two people who never ask for help and are always the first to give it…. so I'm asking for them.
