Our dear friend, Marina Shimonets, and her sister Alesia were recently involved in a serious accident while walking their dog. On Saturday, March 7, in the evening around 6:30 pm, they were walking on Palmerson Drive in Antelope when they were hit by a car in a hit and run. As a result of the accident, Marina suffered severe injuries and had to undergo emergency surgery. Alesia suffered minor injuries. Their dog was hit but only had minor injuries. By the grace of God, Marina survived the accident and the surgery. However, the road to recovery will be long and difficult. Marina is currently focusing on healing and regaining strength, and Alesia is now recovering as well, but the physical pain and emotional stress have been overwhelming for both sisters and their family.
During this time, Marina and Alesia need rest, support, and the ability to focus fully on recovery without the worry of expenses. We are asking our community, friends, and anyone who feels led to help to please consider supporting Marina and Alesia during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to give, we ask that you please share this page and keep Marina in your prayers. We truly believe in the power of prayer and God's healing. Doctors said it was a miracle that she survived and is able to talk. We know that it was God that saved her. We trust that the Lord is watching over Marina and will guide every step of the recovery journey. Your kindness, generosity, and prayers mean more than words can express. Thank you for standing with us, supporting Marina and being a light during such a scary moment. With gratitude and faith.
