On June 24, 2026, 85 year old Marilyn Main lost her home and most of her belongings when a neighbor's house in Greenbank caught fire, exploded, and spread to her home. The fire and explosion of 700lbs of commercial fireworks in the house nextdoor was so fierce, 3 fire fighters had to be airlifted to Puget Sound area hospitals.
Fortunately Marilyn was not in her rental home at the time, but returned within minutes to watch her home be devoured in flames and her belongings destroyed in the quenching waters.
Due to the circumstances nextdoor, a criminal investigation is underway. In the meantime, the Marilyn needs replacement housing & furnishings, support with food, clothing, and more.
At the age of 85, her finances are limited so any help towards getting her settled in a new & affordable rental is appreciated!
