Support Marilyn's Fight Against Brain Cancer

I would like to start this out with a prayer. My mother prays every day, and this is all being organized for her - When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the only Lord, your God, the Holy one of Israel, your savior.

Isaiah 43:2

We as a family are creating a go fund me for a very special woman who is a best friend, mother, wife, sister, grandma and she goes by the name of Marilyn. However, she is more commonly referred to as nana, mom, bestie.

The week starting April 22nd, 2024, is a day that will not be forgotten as it was a beginning to an unexpected journey. Mom was submitted to Buffalo General Hospital due to a seizure she underwent in the middle of the night. Robert husband works quickly to aid to her and contacts daughter Ashley for further support in the matter after paramedics had already been alerted. Robert frantically contacted all kids and family to make sure everyone close was aware and to furthermore gather immediate family up to the hospital. Mom was diagnosed with Glial neoplasm high grade, in short stage 3 brain cancer. I still to this day cannot imagine what it could have felt like hearing those words, but she is confident in all the support she has at hand from family to now many medical teams handling her care. Mom is currently receiving radiation and chemotherapy through Roswell Park Cancer Institute and quite quickly bills are already coming through and of course reasonable cause for concern financially. I am positive it is not unheard of to think to yourself " how will I keep up?" when you stand at the start line of extensive treatments with your name written on it. We as a family are here to create this to go fund me in hopes of taking a weight off of her and her husband's shoulders when it comes to the unforeseeable costs of the treatments.
