Support Marigold's Life-Saving Treatment

My best friend Marigold got into some lilies this morning. If you don’t know about the danger of lilies, they can cause kidney failure and death in cats. Their pollen is so deadly that even licking it can kill them. I made the mistake of allowing lilies to come into my home, and when trying to annoy me into feeding her early, my sweet Marigold nibbled on the a daisy right under the lily’s pollen pods.

I am 22 years old. I live alone in a different state far away from my parents. I just got a new job after being unemployed my senior year in order to do research. I’m a recent college graduate, but I will be attending grad school in the fall for counseling psychology and plan to get my PsyD. Unfortunately, I am unable to pay for Marigold’s treatment.

Marigold is a naughty, playful, silly little girl. She’s only 5 years old and she acts like it. Sometimes I feel like I’m living with a toddler! She makes me laugh all the time and brightens any room she’s in. She loves to cuddle and loves big fluffy blankets she can suck and kneed. She loves to go through my trash and recycling, munch on my fern when I’m not getting her food fast enough, steal bread and dairy out of my hands, and get right under my feet to trip me. She’s a nightmare, but she’s so incredibly perfect. She’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
