Hi! I'm Marie Danos, and I'm working to fulfill my lifelong dream of studying abroad with Semester at Sea! I'll be setting sail in Spring 2027, once I have graduated from UNCA. I'll be traveling to 11 countries and studying on a ship for 4 months! I will be visiting Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, India, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, Morocco, Scotland, and Germany. This program would expose me to societies that most students have only read about in books. Exposure to new cultures and people of the world will give new perspectives from real life experiences. All of my travel expenses such as required vaccinations, international data plans, flights, travel visas, misc. transportation, and all in country travel I will have to pay for myself, and I'd greatly appreciate your help!
