Mariella was accepted to a study abroad program this July 2025!

Mariella is a hard working college student. She’s currently studying psychology and political sciences. She works as an academic liaison for military affiliated students and a tour guide at her university. During school breaks she babysits, lifeguards, Door Dashes and works at a shoe store to help pay for living expenses and college costs.

She somehow manages to do all this, keeps her grades up and contribute to her community. She volunteered to assist new freshman during move in and helped with her schools recycling program. She is a valued member of the universities cheerleading team. She volunteers during fundraisers at her university. She’s a loving and caring, sister, daughter and friend.

Mariella dreams of traveling abroad to Italy this summer to study and learn more about the culture of her ancestors. The cost of a session abroad is about $9000. The scholarships she received covered less than half. She needs your support to help her dream come true!

Update: Thank you to all who donated. Mariella is one step closer to her goal. She was awarded an additional scholarship from her school to study abroad! That combined with donations has put her very close to her goal! I adjusted the goal with the additional scholarship in mind. Those who would still like to donate are welcome to do so.
