 She was able to finnagle and get some  negotiating with Medicare ! They will now cover most of the surgery accept for a 500$ deductible fee . I re set the goal to 1000$ for the cost of the deductible and a bit extra to help with recovery time as a bit of a cushion. she did make her pre op apt  to get the surgery scheduled !
