On August 6th, 2025, I was diagnosed with ITP, a rare blood disorder that has completely changed my life. Since my diagnosis, I’ve been hospitalized five times, each stay lasting about a week. I’ve also endured eight rounds of chemotherapy, which has unfortunately used up all of my insurance coverage. Now, I’m facing the need for surgery, and the costs are all out-of-pocket.

My health has taken a turn for the worse recently. My doctor has taken me out of work for three months because my heart is now being affected, and I’m on blood pressure medications. I’m also dealing with extreme edema all over my body, which makes daily life even more challenging. With five kids and my granddaughter living at home, being out of work has made it incredibly hard to make ends meet and provide for my family.
