My name is Maria Gazmuri, and I am writing to you today as I am facing a challenging situation. Recently, we discovered that our home, where my daughter and grandchildren also reside, is contaminated with toxic mold. This poses a significant risk to our health and safety. We had been experiencing unexplained health issues, which prompted the tests that revealed this problem. Our home, which should be a sanctuary, is now a source of anxiety, health concerns, and financial stress.

The cleanup process is extensive and costly. We require professional mold removal, structural repairs, mycotoxin treatment, and measures to ensure the house is safe for habitation once more. The estimated cost is $20,000, and unfortunately, we are unable to cover this expense on our own.

I am currently living between homes in Michigan and renting in Florida because of being under medical care due to my double transplant K/P.
