Support Maria's Medical Recovery Journey

For all of her life, our mother, Maria, has been a hard worker. We always noticed how much she liked to work, and we would tell her to take it easy. She never really took time off, even when she was feeling sick.

Recently, she had a medical emergency which led her to needing an emergency surgery. The outcome of the surgery left her with an ostomy and a nephrostomy.

Despite the outcome, we are grateful that our mother made it through the surgery. The recovery from the procedure has been long and expensive. Ostomy care is a hassle, especially when you get limited supplies that you’re forced to make last.

We are still waiting to receive a date for her reversal surgery, which we hope will be soon. Everything is piling up, especially since she has been unable to work during her recovery.
