Brian and Saralyn welcomed their sweet baby girl, Maria, into the world on June 20th. Maria was transferred to Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital NICU and underwent her first major surgery just 5 days after birth. Throughout the next few months, Maria displayed incredible resilience and strength overcoming further surgeries and complications. As the family anxiously prepares for another surgery and hospital stay, they also remain grateful for the excellent care Maria's receiving and the support from family and friends.
If you know Brian and Saralyn, you know they are the kind of people who would give the shirts off their back to help someone else. They are kind, hardworking, and have hearts of gold.
At home, Maria has a 2-year-old big brother Jack who can’t wait to play with her, and a family dog Dawson who is always ready to snuggle and show Maria all his toys. This is a family full of love, joy, and kindness—the kind of people who lift up everyone around them.
The emotional toll of living in the hospital for months is unimaginable, and the financial burden that comes with it is overwhelming. Between medical expenses, extended time off work, travel, and the unknown future of her treatment and care, this journey has been incredibly difficult.
We want to give them one less thing to worry about so they can focus all their energy on their baby. If you are able, please consider donating to help this wonderful family. Any amount—big or small—will make a difference. Please make sure to share this fundraiser with all your friends and family.
Thank you for standing with Maria and this amazing family as they continue this journey with love, faith, and hope.
