Hi, my name is Maria, and I’m a photojournalism student with a deep passion for visual storytelling. I am a third-year student at the University of North Texas with a 3.8 GPA. I am fully supporting myself financially as I work toward a career dedicated to telling meaningful, impactful stories.

I have been accepted into a study abroad program in Spain to study cross-cultural reporting. This is an extraordinary opportunity for my career and development as a person in which I will deepen my understanding of global journalism and broaden my perspective as both a storyteller and a person.
