Hello, my name is Maria Oceguera Cordero. I’m a 38-year-old single mother of 2 kids that mean the world to me. I’ve done and given everything to my children so that they can have the best of luck in this world without any regrets or handouts. But due to my medical health, I’ve had to hold my pride and ask for help for the sake of my family.

On April 10, after having what I thought was a routine pelvic ultrasound, I was hospitalized due to pain. Afterwards, the pain kept growing. After countless doctors giving me different diagnoses, on May 29, UCI was able to properly diagnose me with high tone pelvic dysfunction grade 2. I’m not able to have a normal life, and I know with physical therapy and extreme faith in our Lord, I’ll overcome this. But I’ve taken to the point of draining our savings.
