We are writing on behalf of our beloved sister, Maria Mendoza, whose life, and our families was urned upside down last September. Just two months after our dad was diagnosed with ancer,. Maria received a diagnosis of her own, cancer of the uterus. In a matter of days, our family went from holding each other through one devastating reality to facing two.

Watching a father and his daughter walk through cancer side by side is something no family is ‣ver prepared for. The fear is constant. The weight is heavy. And yet, somchow, my sister continues to show up with humor, tenderness, and strength often choosing to comfort others while silently carrying her own pain.

As she heals from a recent hysterectomy, which was medically required. Recovery has been a physical and mental strain, as has the ongoing wait for what comes next.

Even while facing her own challenges, she continues to show up for our father as he battles cancer himself. She is a daughter carrying her father's fear while carrying her own, a weight no one should ever have to bear.

We are reaching out in love and faith to ask for support for my sister. She is currently on disability and manages additional medical challenges, making this season physically emotionally, and financially overwhelming. Still, she continues to trust God for strength, even on the days when strength feels out of reach
