Support for Marianne Akers After Chatham Tragedy

The tragedy that hit the small town of Chatham, IL Monday April 28th has been on the hearts of so many locally and nationwide. The outpouring of love and support to the families affected has been nothing short of amazing.

I know she probably doesn’t want me doing this. However, in the last 24 hours I have been flooded with question on how to help one person in particular, Marianne Akers. A few different posts have been made on FB by separate individuals who have now started a group for anyone wanting to help or send encouraging words. It came to my attention that some people would like to donate monetary rather than food, etc.

Money from this will go towards future meals, medical expenses that are not covered and help the family through a time where finances are going to be tough due to time off work.

I can not express how much the outpouring of support for Marianne after so much public hatred means not only to me, but the entire family and friends. ❤️
