UPDATE From Mariana - October 1, 2025
Good afternoon, dear Family, ❤️
Thank you so much for your love and care.
After the operation in Turkey, I am doing better. I went through a short period when I had Covid, and later I also needed a small additional procedure, but I have recovered. At the moment, my main challenge is a low hemoglobin level, which drops quickly, but the doctors and I are working on this. Physically, I feel stronger, and my body is slowly restoring.
Regarding dialysis, the doctors say I may continue until January, but nothing is certain yet. We are gradually reducing the sessions, and everything depends on how my body responds — it may stop earlier or continue longer.
Financially, I still owe my doctor about €18,000 (around $21,000). The total cost of the surgery was €68,000 (about $80,000). I am deeply grateful to God that the needed funds for the operation were provided in time, and also for the doctor, because without him this surgery would not have been possible.
My prayer requests are:
– that I may regain strength and feel well, especially now as my body is recovering after three operations in one year and the seasonal changes make me feel weaker, sometimes with pain in the places of the surgeries,
– for a safe and steady recovery,
– for wisdom and guidance for my doctor,
– for strength and provision to repay the remaining medical debt,
– and for peace in my heart throughout this journey.
I am full of gratitude to God for carrying me through every step, and I thank Him for surrounding me with people who reflect His love so deeply. Every prayer, every gift, every encouraging word has been like a ray of light in the middle of difficult days. Truly, I see God’s hand in all of this, and I know He is faithful to finish the good work He has started.
Please share with everyone that I carry them in my prayers too, asking the Lord to bless them richly and to return back a hundredfold everything they have sown into my life. With tears of gratitude, I say: may all glory be to God forever. ❤️
With much love and gratitude,
Mariana

Dear global family,
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for your prayers & donations! In May of 2025, Mariana was able to successfully undergo a kidney transplant surgery. As some of you may know, her donor was found through a national program in Moldova that works in partnership with clinics in Turkey. Finding a donor is a very serious process with strict rules and excellent medical care. In Mariana’s case, her donor was an anonymous living person. About her kidney donor, Mariana says, “All I know is that somewhere out there, someone chose to save a life. There are no words big enough to thank them.”
Before the transplant, Mariana was given about 6 months to live. She was doing dialysis almost daily. Every day, she was tied to machines, had restrictions, and experienced constant exhaustion. Because she has undergone a successful transplant, she has to do dialysis only 3 times per week, and soon she will reduce it to 2 times per week; then—if all goes well—she will stop dialysis completely after 6 months.
“The body needs time to adapt to the new kidney, but even now, I already feel the difference. I can breathe easier, plan things, and live without depending on a machine every single day,” says Mariana.
A successful transplant can now give Mariana up to 30+ more years of life. However, it depends on how well she takes care of herself afterwards, by doing things such as:
– taking immunosuppressive medication at the same time every day (which she will need to be on for the rest of her life)
– never missing medical checkups
– avoiding infections, risky foods, and extreme effort
“[Getting the transplant] is a new beginning, but one that comes with responsibility. You’re saved—but you have to protect the gift you’ve received.”
Your donations will help to ensure that Mariana can protect the precious gift of a new, healthy kidney. On average, she will need about $1500 USD a month, at least for the next 6 months ahead.
Through these uncertain and often tumultuous times, Mariana’s faith has not wavered. When asked how God has encouraged her in this time, she shares, “God was present in every step. He held me when I had no strength, comforted me when I was afraid, and lifted me when I was falling. He taught me how to trust Him, even when I couldn’t see a way out. He showed me that He never delays, and He’s working in silence—even when we can’t feel Him. I’ve learned to walk by faith, not by sight. I’ve learned to feel that He is not just near, but within. There were days when I didn’t even have the strength to pray, but even then, He comforted me. He sent good people, unexpected news, and little signs that I was on the right path. He encouraged me through peace, through the calm that only He can give, even when everything around me was chaos. He was like a light in a cold hospital room: a quiet but clear assurance that I was not alone And most of all—that I don’t have to understand everything in order to believe.”
Some Scriptures that Mariana has clung to in these last 3 years include:
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.” – Psalm 23:4
“The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” – Psalm 27:1
“Do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in Me.” – John 14:1
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
– Philippians 4:6
“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.” – Isaiah 41:10
And a message from Mariana to all of her donors:
To those of you who have given and continue to give from the heart:
you are the hands of God in my life.
You may not have known how much every single contribution meant, but because of you, I can say today: I am alive and I have a real chance.
I carry you in my prayers and in my heart.
And I continue my steps toward healing because of you – because you didn’t stop at one gesture, but have stayed by my side even during this difficult recovery period.
Every bit of help you give means a test done on time, a trip to the doctor, a day with one less worry.
You made me feel that I’m not alone.
Thank you with all my heart.
Original Fundraiser message:
As many of you know, Mariana Spinache is a 23-year-old disciple from Moldova. She became a Christian in 2022. She quickly gave up her career to join RevivEE 3.0. She then signed up for RevivEE 4.0 to continue serving, but unfortunately, during the summer of 2023, she went through kidney failure. Since then, she has spent almost every day in and out of hospitals with dialysis and treatments. More than a year has passed, and sadly, the dialysis has not corrected the dysfunction. Mariana is now in line for a kidney transplant and currently number two on the list. Her blood type is AB negative, which is one of the rarest blood types, making it difficult for her to find a match.
Please pray for her! When we get a donor, we will need $60,000 for travel and all the medical expenses to perform the transplant. So, this fundraiser is to raise funds for our dear team member, who is fighting for her life. Mariana has an incredible trust in God and a faithful spirit about her situation.
There is also a parallel fundraiser hosted by Andrea Tucker on GiveSendGo - we are working together. So please give to either platform.
If for any reason this operation does not proceed, all money raised will be used to help other Christians in need who have serious medical conditions.
