John Alexander Zaganczyk Jr., age 37, of Franklin, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on February 1st, 2026, surrounded by his loving family and dogs at home. John was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend, remembered for his strength, loyalty, and love in action. From an early age, he was active, driven, and determined, excelling in sports and academics, and later building a career at We Energies, where he was known for his integrity and leadership. John married Mckenzie in 2024, and together they welcomed their daughter, Mariana, who became the light of his life. Even as he faced a courageous battle with brain cancer, John’s faith and devotion to his family never wavered. He cherished time outdoors, especially hunting with his dad and brother, and was proud of his Polish heritage. John leaves behind a legacy of kindness, service, and deep connection to family and community. He will be remembered in the stories we tell, the values we carry forward, and the way we show up for one another—just as he always did. Though our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for the time we had and the love we witnessed.
