Of course we all don’t picture our selves making one of these but there’s unfortunate times with a lot of unfortunate people in life.

Early Saturday morning around 1:30am my little sister Mariah and some friends were leaving from an outing when a drunk driver quickly reversed without paying attention to who was behind. Multiple people were able to dodge the careless driver but my sister was nicked enough to cause her to fall to the ground resulting in the driver of the Chevy truck to completely run over her upper torso with the back tire. She was able to crawl out with the assistance of 2 friendly nearby nurses and a brave friend. The driver of the vehicle exited the truck to later fleeing the scene after realizing he had injured somebody.

At this time Mariah is currently being monitored by a caring team of doctors at HonorHealth Hospitol in Phoenix, Arizona. After multiple tests and scans, her injuries are a C7 neck fracture along with a concussion, extensive road rash and severe trauma from this experience.

The important thing is she’s alive and has full mobility of her body and is fully conscious of what happened. Mariah is a strong hearted individual but is scared of the road to recovery, physically and mentally.

Her parents are currently by her side and my family is doing everything we can from California to be here for her in full support. From my family to yours we ask and apreciate for any donation and long prayers for a healthy recovery.

We are unsure of a full recovery time frame but we are assure of the extensive amount of physical and mental emotion of this incident that Mariah will need all the support she can get.
