It is with a very heavy heart that I share that our dear friend and teammate Mariah Lane passed away on Saturday, May 10. Please continue to surround and uplift her family as they grieve both Mariah and her beloved friend, roommate and grandmother Diana.

Mariah Sunshine Lane, age 30, of Bloomfield, Indiana passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on May 5, 1995 in Greencastle, Indiana to Jason Lane and Amber (Monroe) Stogsdill. She graduated from Owen Valley High School and worked as a medical assistant. Mariah enjoyed hiking, kayaking, painting, her hairless cat "Buzz", and mothering to Olivia and Parker.

Mariah is survived by her father, Jason Lane; mother, Amber Stogsdill (Matt), siblings, Zane Fraze, Jacob Gose, and Jaxson Lane; and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Greg Monroe, Diana Townsend, and James and Belinda Lane.

Funeral Services for Mariah will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, 105 N. Montgomery Street, Spencer, Indiana 47460.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm and Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 12:00 pm until time of the service at 2:00 pm.

Burial will follow the service at Chambersville Cemetery near Spencer, Indiana.
