Support Mariah's Battle Against Ovarian Cancer

On June 4th, 2024 Mariah Foreman Taylor gave birth to a baby boy, Paxton, who has been a fighter since the day he was born, just like his mother. During her C-section, they discovered a tumor, which was sent to pathology. Last Friday, she received the news no one ever wants to hear: she has stage 4 ovarian cancer.

This week, she underwent a full hysterectomy. During that surgery, they found a tumor attached to her colon and had to resect part of it to remove the tumor completely. Unfortunately, they also found a tumor in her rectum but couldn't remove it as it would have necessitated a colostomy bag.

Her sweet baby boy is still in the NICU, getting stronger every day.

The follow-up course of treatment will be chemotherapy to try and shrink that tumor.

Mariah is strong, smart, and resilient. If anyone is a fighter, it is her. She is loved and admired for the mother, daughter, sister, and friend she is.
