Mariachi Aztlán de Pueblo High School in Tucson has been given an incredible opportunity to travel to San Antonio, Texas from July 19–23 to participate in the First Annual Avanzando Mariachi Conference. This is a huge honor for our students, as they were invited to open the main concert alongside the world renowned Mariachi Camperos.

These students are coming off their 12th straight win as the Best High School Mariachi at the Tucson International Mariachi Conference, a testament to their talent, dedication, and hard work. As a parent of an Aztlán member, I have seen firsthand the passion and commitment these students bring to mariachi music. They spend countless hours practicing, performing, and proudly representing our community and culture.

This trip will allow them to learn from some of the best mariachi musicians and educators in the country while creating memories and opportunities that will last a lifetime. We are asking for your support to help cover the costs of the trip, including airfare, food, lodging, and transportation expenses for the students.
