First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has been praying for us, keeping an eye on us, and making sure we're doing okay.

Most of you know my mother, Maria Vargas, as a bright, caring, loving soul. She has been the rock of our family for quite some time now after my father's sudden and debilitating illness in 2019. My parents are the hardest working individuals I know, and it is unfortunate the hand they have been dealt. Following a recent breast cancer diagnosis, my mother is currently receiving chemotherapy for the next 6 months. She will not be able to work for the entirety of her treatments.

As the eldest daughter, it is my obligation to care for my loving and wonderful parents, who raised me with the same dedication and care.
