Maria Pineda's Final Journey Home

Nuestra querida María Pineda (Carmela) falleció el día de hoy, 21 de enero del 2025.

Fue una madre, hermana y amiga maravillosa, una abuela que adoraba a sus nietos, una persona muy querida por quienes llegaron a conocerla.

María era una mujer fuerte, valiente y trabajadora que murió trabajando y luchando como muchos en este país. Sus hijos, nietos y hermanos estamos devastados y lamentablemente no estábamos preparados para el alto costo de un funeral y en este caso para el traslado a su país natal, donde todos sus familiares la esperan para honrar su memoria y despedirse por última vez.

Actualmente estamos solicitando donaciones para ayudar a cubrir estos costos de traslado. Agradecemos cualquier donación, cualquier cantidad realmente ayudará a nuestra familia en este momento tan difícil.

Our beloved Maria Pineda (Carmela) passed away today, January 21, 2025.

She was a wonderful mother, sister, friend, and a grandmother who adored her grandchildren. A very dear person to all who came to know her.

Maria was a strong, brave, hard-working woman who died working and fighting like many in this country. Her children, grandchildren, and siblings are devastated and unfortunately we were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral and in this case for the transfer to her native country, where all her relatives are waiting to honor her memory and say goodbye for the last time.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover these transfer costs. We appreciate any donations, any amount will really help our family in this difficult time.
